January 2006: Recent Fundraisers

  • Emilys Grandparents Anne and George Nicholson completed the 'Great North run' half marathon in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, in September raising £500, along with a further £1000 donated by South Tyneside council after he was featured in a newsletter about the event, and told Emily's story and all about MLD.
  • John Glover and members of Dudley/Kingswinford running club who also ran in 'The Great North Run' raising £613
  • Employees at Julians company, 'Point Eight Ltd', who raised £52.00 from a jeans for genes day
