Emily Hart
May 30th, 2001 - December 19th, 2006

On December 19th, 2006, little Emily Hart lost her battle with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy. She passed away peacefully in her own bed in the morning, after a morning kiss from her mother Helen, father Julian, and brother Alex. On Christmas morning, the Harts released helium balloons to send up to Emily. Alex sent her a Santa Claus balloon so that she would have a visit from Santa on Christmas Day.

Emily's heart and fighting spirit touched many people. We want to thank all of those who were touched by Emily, and who joined us in the fight against MLD. Thank you for all your support.
